November 18, 2024 – Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Tara Pate, APRN, to the Fulton County Family Clinic. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and sees patients on Thursdays and Fridays. Tara is practicing alongside Renée Crowl, APRN, with Chris Cochran, MD, collaborating as the supervising physician, ensuring comprehensive medical oversight and support.
Tara most recently worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department at Fulton County Hospital. Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from ARNEC Ozarka College and an LPN Certificate from Ozarka College. Tara is a veteran of the US Army.
Outside of caring for her patients, Tara enjoys bow hunting, attending sporting events for her children, and is an avid reader, finishing a new book every few days across various genres. Summers and fall are often spent camping. She is a devoted member of Salem 1st Baptist Church and is happily married with seven children, three of whom still live at home. They live on her husband’s family farm, cherishing free time spent with friends and family, often at the roping pen where her husband team ropes—a true family affair. Her husband holds a special place in her heart as the center of her world and a true role model for their daughters.
“We are very excited to have Tara join the Baxter Health Fulton County Family Clinic,” said Anthony Reed, VP of Ancillary Services. “She is a very talented and well-respected provider, making her a wonderful addition to the team.”
Tara is now accepting patients at Baxter Health Fulton County Family Clinic. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the clinic at (870) 895-2152.
