SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Ozark Radio Network and the Better Business Bureau of Southwest Missouri have joined together to offer consumer safety tips, alerts, and warnings in a weekly segment called the BBB Break.
News Director Ed Button spoke with BBB Regional Director Stephanie Garland about a scam involving the Apple iPhone and how to avoid becoming a victim of a scam purporting to be from a collection agency:
The Better Business Bureau is a nonprofit organization that sets and upholds standards for fair business behavior. Most BBB services to consumers are free of charge, including free BBB Business Profiles on more than 5.3 million companies and 11,000 charity reviews. Other services include dispute resolutions, fraud alerts, and educational information on dozen of topics.
