Bear City Fall Festival Begins Tomorrow

Willow Springs, MO. – The City of Willow Springs in Howell County has their biggest and most anticipated festival of the year beginning tomorrow, and this year appears to be chock full of vendors, activities, and more.

According to information from the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce, several contests are lined up, including a bake-off, a chili-cook-off, a coloring contest, pumpkin decoration contest, and a Harvest Bounty Contest, where you bring your best, biggest, or most exotic home grown veggies for judging.

In addition, there will be a quilt show, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office will be organizing a fundraiser, and local writer and columnist Lonnie Whitaker will be signing copies of his new book.

There will also be a variety of live performances to be had at the festival, available all throughout the day.
