WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The West Plains Salvation Army needs bell ringers for the upcoming fundraising season.
Bell ringing will take place November 25 through December 24 from 4-8 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 8 pm Saturdays. Kettle locations in West Plains include the two Walmart entrances, Ramey, and Walgreens.

Ozark Action Community Services Manager Kay Mead says the Salvation Army raised close to $36,000 last year, which 85% of that stayed here in West Plains. The funds were used to assist West Plains residents with medications, eyeglasses, food, utility and rent deposits, transportation, and more.
