West Plains, MO. – The Avenue Theatre starts its latest production to be shown this Friday in the form of a stage play version of The Beverly Hillbillies.
This play will feature the titular characters, a family known as the Clampetts, as they navigate city life in Beverly Hills despite having a more backwoods disposition.
The play will star local talents portraying the Clampetts, as well as their neighbors and others. Comedy will be a prominent fixture in the writing.
In addition, live bluegrass will be played before the performance, with opening night featuring Stringed Union.
The first showing starts this Friday on the 14th at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased at https://theavenuetheatre.org/ or purchased at the box office on the night of the show.
