Peace Valley, MO. – A man from Birch Tree, MO. has been arrested as a result of an investigation dating back to October 12th of 2022, that originated with a call on potential child abuse.
According to the probable cause statement on this case, in the original October call, that one minor child has disclosed to their father that Alan Heady, a 69-year-old male from Birch Tree, had sexually molested them.
The document goes on to state that Heady had resided with the family in Peace Valley for some time due to being in a relationship with the child’s grandmother. However, after this disclosure, Heady was forced to leave.
Testimony was taken from the victim with the help of the Child Advocacy Center, and the case was forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney for review.
Alan Heady was arrested on April 14th on a charge of Statutory Sodomy – Deviate Sexual Intercourse, with a person less than 12. His bond was set at $50,000. Heady is set to have a hearing at the Howell County Courthouse on May 1st.
