A body found inside a vehicle at Little Rock Air Force Base on March 4 has been identified as Belva Day. Authorities had been working to determine the identity of the deceased after the discovery of the vehicle and its occupant.
95-year-old Belva Day went missing from Mountain Home in early February. Security cameras captured her vehicle traveling toward Gepp, but the trail went cold shortly thereafter. A dive team searched areas of the White River in Independence County, Arkansas late last month in hopes to find answers, but were also left emptyhanded.

Day’s body was found about three and a half hours from Mountain Home.
