Body of Missing Marshfield Man Recovered in Bull Shoals Lake

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports the body of a missing person has been recovered from the Camp Galilee Cove area of Bull Shoals Lake on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 3:15P. Sheriff Alexander reports the body is believed to be that of CALEB BLAIR, a twenty-five (25) year old W/M, from Marshfield, MO. BLAIR and other family members were staying at an area resort when he left to go fishing at approximately 6:00A yesterday morning. It is believed BLAIR was fishing from a small watercraft and was caught in a severe thunderstorm while fishing. Family members reported him missing at approximately 11:30A on June 13.
 
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and were assisted by personnel from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Newton County Sheriff’s Office, and members of the Christian Aid Ministries Search and Rescue Team.
 
The body has been transferred to the Marion County Coroner’s Office and will be submitted to the State Medical Examiner’s Section of the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause and manner of death.
