Bootleggers BBQ teamed up Operation BBQ Relief to provide free meals to families and front-line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan was to provide 10,000 meals over the course of ten day. According to Bootleggers BBQ owner Brian Staack, the restaurant actually gave out 13,321 meals.
Staack reflected on the past 10 days:
Bootleggers provided meals to hospital workers, emergency personnel, police officers, and more. Bootleggers also traveled around the Ozarks to give out food in different towns.
