Both drivers injured in crash that stalled traffic near Brandsville on Friday morning

West Plains, MO. – The drivers of two vehicles were injured, one seriously, in a crash near a MoDOT work zone north of Brandsville on Friday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online report, the crash occurred at 7:54 a.m. on US 63, three miles north of Brandsville.

A southbound Toyota Camry driven by 20-year-old Jayce Haven of Thayer struck the rear of a stationary Mack truck driven by Ferrell Moore, age 56 of Springfield, Missouri, in the Missouri Department of Transportation construction zone.

The Toyota was totaled in the crash and the Mack sustained moderate damage.

Haven received serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by AirEvac air ambulance. Moore suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
