Both drivers injured in Truck v. Tractor crash

West Plains, MO. – Two Mountain View men were injured in a collision involving a Howell County Tractor. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Highway 63 at Highway UU, four miles south of Willow Springs at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

A 2001 Chevy 2500 driven by Maverick Hood, age 32, struck a John Deere 6120M driven by Clint Reed, age 58, from behind. The Chevy slid off the right side of the road and the tractor crossed the centerline and traveled off the left side of the road following the impact.

Hood suffered serious injuries and Reed suffered moderate injuries. Both men were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by Willow Springs Ambulance and South Howell Ambulance in dealing with the crash.
