Willow Springs, MO – A Branson woman was hospitalized following a crash in Douglas county. The accident occurred around 12:15 am Sunday morning on Highway 76, nine miles west of Willow Springs. A 2006 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Jessica Eddings, 29 of Branson, was traveling westbound when the Jetta left the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The Jetta was totaled and Eddings suffered serious injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Eddings was wearing her safety device.

The accident was investigated by Trooper M. Chastain with the assistance of Trooper K. Etherton of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
