Update: Semi-Crash Blocks Traffic on South 63 Near Brandsville

Update: The roadway has been completely cleared as of 10 a.m. this morning. Reports from the Highway Patrol at the scene state that this crash occurred as the semi’s trailer unit dropped off the side of the road. The driver overcorrected in an attempt to return it to the roadway, causing it to overturn and block the roadway. No injuries have been reported as a part of the accident.

Brandsville, MO. – Reports and information have come in this morning of a crash along South 63 sometime around 4:15 a.m.. The crash occurred North of Brandsville.

Information is scarce, but it appears a UPS semi has rolled over and was previously blocking all lanes of traffic. Currently, the blockage is down to one lane, and traffic is able to pass with some increase in commute times expected. Plan ahead and leave early this morning.

The extent of damage is unknown, as is an ETA for a full clean-up. However, the Highway Patrol has reported that no injuries are present at this time. More information will be updated on this article as it is received.
