A Bucyrus woman was injured Friday morning in a single‑vehicle crash on Emery Road, about eight miles northwest of Houston.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:40 a.m. when the 55‑year‑old driver of a 2015 Ford Escape suffered a medical event. The SUV ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Troopers say she was wearing a safety device but sustained moderate injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
