Building on Main Street in Cabool Damaged in Vehicle Accident

Cabool, MO. – A vehicular accident damaged a building on main street of Cabool on Thursday around noon.

Terry Holloway, the driver in this accident, gave us his actuality of what occurred. Holloway was the driver of a white Dodge truck, and was travelling along main street when his right-side brake locked up, veering him off of the roadway and into another vehicle that was parked, a Chevy truck. He then continued into the old police station located at 611 Main Street in Cabool.

This building is now used as the State Department Maintenance Building, and the damage appears to be extensive. Repair crews will likely be present over the coming days in front of City Hall, so passersby are suggested to use other streets to travel.

Lastly, no injuries were reported in this accident, with Holloway joking the only injury sustained were his feelings. There is currently no estimated time of finish for repair of the building.
