Bull Shoals, AR. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have announced another full road closure for Highway 178 that runs across the Bull Shoals Dam due to the ongoing maintenance that is being performed on the dam.
This full road closure will have started this morning at 7, and is expected to continue through to this coming Thursday at 5pm. This will allow workers in the area time to deploy and remove maintenance equipment on the dam, as well as perform their duties.
The suggested route for avoidance of the closure remains the same, using Highway 178 to Arkansas Highway 5 and Arkansas Highway 126.
As before, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have stated that the closure and work involved have been coordinated with local agencies.
