Bunker man and teen injured in one-vehicle crash in Reynolds County

Ellington, MO – A Bunker man and a teen were injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon near Ellington. The accident occurred at 3:35 p.m. on County Road 762, 6 miles west of Ellington in Reynolds County.

A Dodge Ram driven by Travis Turner, 40 of Bunker, ran off the right side and overturned, seriously injuring Turner and minorly injuring his 17-year-old male passenger. Neither had been wearing a safety device.

The teen sought his own medical treatment. Turner was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

This accident was investigated by Trooper C. C. McCoy of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
