Billings, MO. – A Cabool driver has been injured yesterday in a two-vehicle head-on accident on US 60.
This accident took place just East of Billings, MO. in Christian County, and happened at around 11:35am. A Nissan Rogue, driven by Stephanie Bedwell, 39 of Springfield, was travelling Eastbound when Bedwell crossed the center of the roadway and struck a Westbound Nissan Kicks.
The driver of the Kicks was Michael Purvis, a 58-year-old male from Cabool. Bedwell was not wearing a safety device, but Purvis was. Both sustained moderate injuries, with Bedwell being taken to Mercy in Springfield, and Purvis being taken to Cox South in Springfield.
The investigating trooper in this accident was Trooper M.G. Yendes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.
