A Cabool man was injured Saturday afternoon in a two‑vehicle crash on Highway 181, three miles south of Cabool. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on August 29.
Troopers say a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 43‑year‑old Cabool man struck a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder that had slowed to make a turn. The Pathfinder, driven by a 64‑year‑old Cabool man, sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene at the owner’s request. The Silverado had moderate damage but was able to be driven from the scene.

The 64‑year‑old driver suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. No other injuries were reported.
