Car Crash south of West Plains causes Power Outage for Hundreds

West Plains, MO. – A car crash south of West Plains near US Highway 160 has knocked out power for hundreds of people, according to Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc. 

The crash occurred in the area of US 160 and AB Highway intersection. HOEC has had to de-energize roughly 600 members in the area between West Plains and South Fork. Crews from HOEC are working to restore power and EMS are responding to the crash.
