Caulfield Couple Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident Friday

West Plains, MO. – A couple from Caulfield were injured on Friday when they were struck by an opposing vehicle.

This crash was investigated by Trooper T.D. Pond of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.

A Ford Explorer was travelling Southbound on Highway 63, being operated by Patricia Sloan, a 63-year-old from Caulfield. Roughly two miles south of West Plains, Patricia attempted a left turn and was struck by a Ford F150,driven by James Miles, 83 of Alton, MO.

Patricia and her passenger, Jack Sloan, 76 of Caulfield, were inflicted with moderate injuries and were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The driver of the opposing vehicle was uninjured in the collision.
