Caulfield Fatality Confirmed in Friday Evening Crash

South Fork, MO. – A traffic fatality has been confirmed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday evening, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

This crash happened on Highway 160, roughly one mile West of South Fork. A 2020 Ford F150, driven by Carolyn Robertson, 61 of West Plains, crossed the centerline, causing a head-on collision with a 1994 Chevy S10, driven by Aaron Schlegel, 32 of Caulfield.

Schlegel was pronounced deceased on the scene. Robertson was seriously injured, as were two of her passengers, Carroll Gaddis, 64 of West Plains, and Amanda Sanders, 30 of Tecumseh.

This accident was investigated by Corporal J.D. Wheeler of Troop G.
