West Plains, MO. – First, it was goats and then they wanted to give the community dogs a turn. The Cedarhurst Senior Living Facility in West Plains hosted a “Yappy Hour” event to help raise money for “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”.
This event happened on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The residents had made homemade dog treats and All Pet in West Plains donated toys and treats for the dogs that the community members brought. The senior living facility raised $30 on the homemade treats alone. ‘All Pet’ also sponsored a prize giveaway which was won by Eli Baker and Copper.
Cedarhurst does plan on having multiple more occasions to help raise money for a “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” and will announce them as they come closer to happening. Earlier in the year they hosted West Plains’s very first Goat Gala. Check out the fun the dogs had on the Tuesday adventure.
