West Plains, MO. – This week is 4H week, celebrating the largest youth-development organization in the US. National 4H Week is celebrated October 4th through the 10th, and while that means the week is nearly over, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a way to celebrate it.
At the MU Extension in Howell County, two informational nights are planned in recognition of 4-H Week. These nights consist of staff at the office staying late until 6:30pm to talk to the public about 4-H, what it does, and how to enroll if they so choose.
The MU Extension in Howell County now has a 4-H Youth Program Associate who will be present to answer any questions, Kendra Sisney. The office can be found at 1376 Bill Virdon Blvd, West Plains, MO 65775.
We spoke to Kendra, and you can listen to her below.
