Ceremonies to be Held in Area Cemeteries for Memorial Day

Springfield & Fort Leonard Wood, MO. – Several ceremonies are to be held later this month to coincide with Memorial Day, with venue locations being veteran cemeteries. Two in particular are expected to host several big name guests, including Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, and Missouri Veterans Commission Director Paul Kirchhoff.

The ceremony that hosts Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe will be held at Fort Leonard Wood on May 27th at 1pm. The address is 25350, Highway H in Waynesville, MO. Kehoe is expected to give a speech during this ceremony.

The second event that will include remarks from Paul Kirchhoff will be happening in Springfield at 5201 South Southwood at 1:30pm, on the 27th as well.

This was all put together to honor those who have died across all wars involving the United States, and to coincide with Memorial Day, held for the same purpose since 1971. These events are organized by the Missouri Veterans Commission.
