Charges Filed Against Pair that Shot Deputy’s Vehicle during Pursuit in Wright County

Hartville, MO. – Official charges have been filed against the pair who ran from authorities and fired a weapon at a Wright County Deputy Sunday night. 

Those arrested were driver Bobby Naylor, 28 of Mountain Grove, and Breanna Wallace, 28 of Norwood.

Both suspects have been charged with 1st Degree Assault – Special Victim, Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Section 9, Armed Criminal Action, and Felony Resisting Arrest.

 

At 11 p.m. Sunday night, Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Brown attempted to pull over a vehicle but, the driver took off and Brown initiated pursuit. The Deputy had his vehicle shot at during the pursuit, which went into Douglas County. After Brown lost sight of the vehicle, a multi-jurisdictional manhunt began with the assistance of the Douglas County Sheriff, Mountain Grove Police, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Missouri Department of Conservation. The cooperation of law enforcement agencies brought about apprehension of the Naylor and Wallace after they had abandoned the vehicle.
