A Cherokee Village woman died Friday afternoon in a two‑vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and State Highway 175 in Hardy, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Troopers say the crash happened at 2:23 p.m. on May 22 when a northbound 2000 Ford Ranger on Highway 175 pulled into the path of a westbound 2024 Ford F‑250 traveling on U.S. 62. The F‑250 struck the Ranger, causing fatal injuries to the Ranger’s driver, 75‑year‑old Emma S. Baumann of Cherokee Village.
