Remember that under a boil water advisory, it is suggested to boil your water vigorously for three minutes before using it. This includes drinking water, using it to prepare meals, or brushing ones teeth.

Do not use any ice from ice makers using water from the city, and be sure to remake any that has been produced from an automatic maker.

It is suggested to use water in cleaning by adding a teaspoon amount of bleach for every gallon of water used. Water for bathing or hand-washing generally does not need to be boiled or disinfected.
