City of Mountain View Seeking City Clerk & More

Mountain View, MO. – Within roughly a weeks time, the City of Mountain View has made several announcements via their social media page and other channels, stating their need for not only individuals to step up to certain positions, but for bids on a project on City Hall.

Two job positions are currently open, one being a laborer for the water and sewer department, and the other is for the position of a full-time City Clerk. In their statement on the request for a City Clerk, it states that the duties and responsibilities include record-keeping, abiding by Sunshine Law requests, preparing agendas, assistance for the Utility Clerk and City Attorney, and accountability for for what is stated as “monetary, fiscal, safety and legal issues for which the position is responsible.”

Lastly, the City is currently taking bids to have a microphone system installed into the City Council Chambers located on 120 North Oak Street, with sealed bids being accepted at the City Clerks Office at 126 North Oak Street until April 30th.
