THAYER, MISSOURI- The City of Thayer is currently accepting applications for a utility worker. This is a full-time position with benefits and report to the city aministrator, utitlity supervisor, mayor, and city council.
Position Summary: The Utility Worker performs a variety of duties related to the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of the City’s utility systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities include assisting with the repair of water leaks, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, responding to electrical outages, completing utility upgrades, reading meters, and performing other miscellaneous utility-related work as assigned.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at The Thayer City Hall (124 North 2nd Street in Thayer) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM & 1:30-4:30 PM.
