West Plains, MO. – February has already arrived and spring is around the corner. With that, plans are being set in place for the yearly Citywide Yard Sale and Spring Cleanup event for 2025.
The Citywide Yard Sale effectively waives all permit fees for yard sales, giving citizens a chance to clear out their unwanted items. This has been announced for April 17th through the 19th.
Following in the next week, the Spring Cleanup occurs when the city picks up additional items for free as a part of their weekly trash routes. This includes regular trash, wrapped furniture, yard waste, and certain appliances. However, some items will not be accepted, such as hazardous waste, rennovation debris, or uncontained broken glass. A full list from the City will be posted below.
