The City of West Plains is reporting that some city customers have received phone calls from the “City of West Plains Electric Department” wanting to come into the home to review the customer’s electric panel.
“We would never call you asking that and would only advise if you had issues to have it checked out by a licensed electrician,” said city officials. “The City would never do work beyond the electric meter, only electricians.”
