  • Waived late fees and delinquency fees.
  • Suspension of disconnect of any utility service during the period of the COVID019 outbreak of Spring/Summer 2020. Please note suspension of disconnect does not mean utility fees will be waived or forgiven. Customers will still be responsible for paying all utility fees accrued during this time period.
  • Special payment arrangements (based on your unique situation) for any outstanding balance caused by layoff, illness, or other reason directly related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Proof of layoff and/or illness or quarantine may be required.

For customers needing to move forward in the assistance program, please fill out the Application for Utility Bill Assistance due to COVID-19, which can be found online www.westplains.net. Sign and return the application to City Hall via mail, P.O. Box 710, West Plains, MO 65775, or drop box located outside of City Hall, 1910 Holiday Lane.

Once application is received, City staff will call and discuss your application and work with you to customize a payment plan. For further questions please contact City Hall Utilities, 256-7176 or email, cashier@westplains.net.
