The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Nov. 8. Contracts included drainage improvements, pavement resurfacing, a bridge rehabilitation, and a rest area conversion to truck parking.
Contracts included the following:
- A $1,585,744 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for drainage improvements from Williams Creek to the south intersection of Mount Auburn Road on Route 61/Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau County.
- A $955,382 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for shoulder resurfacing on Route 60 from one mile east of Route 114 to Route 61 in New Madrid County.
- A $469,469 contract was awarded to The Truesdell Corporation of Wisconsin for bridge rehabilitation over the Headwater Diversion Channel on Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County.
- A $2,508,595 contract was awarded to Missouri Petroleum Products Company, LLC, for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route 38 from Route 95 to Route 17 in Texas and Wright counties,
- Route 19 from Riverview Drive to north of Route 60 in Shannon County,
- Route W from Route 17 to Mountain View in Howell County,
- Route CC from Route 181 to Route 63 in Ozark and Howell counties, and;
- Route B from Route 160 to Route 142 in Ripley County.
- A $1,030,700 contract was awarded to N.B. West Contracting Co., for scrub seals on the following routes:
- Route KK From Route B to Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County,
- Route T from Route BB to Route 51 in Perry County, and;
- Route N from Route M to the end of state maintenance in Ste. Genevieve County.
- A $2,049,848 contract was awarded to Lappe Cement Finishing, Inc., for the conversion of the southbound Fruitland Rest Area to truck parking on Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County.
