WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Missouri State University-West Plains’ (MSU-WP) community behavioral health support program will be the topic of the Friends of the Garnett Library meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, in room 205 of Lybyer Hall, 605 W. Main St., in West Plains.
Elizabeth Mahan, the program’s coordinator and lecturer, will be the guest speaker.
The 61-credit-hour program prepares students to enter the workforce as community support specialists for those with behavioral and mental health diagnoses, university officials have said.
Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by Monday, Jan. 6.
