COTTER, Ark. — The city of Cotter, Ark. has approved their budget for 2020.
The city council approved the budget at their December 19 meeting.

The budget calls for nearly $686,000 in general funds, just over $501,000 for the city water department $141,559 for the street department, $116,356 for the city fire department, and $10,959 for the city cemetery.
The city projects those numbers will match or nearly match expected costs for the upcoming year.
