AUBREY CRAIG, left, West Plains, and Julia Dunning, Queensland, Australia, were the recipients of the 2020 Public Affairs Fellow Awards from Missouri State University-West Plains. The award, sponsored and selected by the Public Affairs Committee, recognizes students who have advanced the university’s public affairs mission both on and off campus and have demonstrated ethical leadership, civic engagement and cultural awareness. Normally, the awards are presented during the annual Celebration of Leaders student awards ceremony in April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony did not take place. Representatives from the Public Affairs Committee presented Craig her award this fall and made arrangements to deliver Dunning her award.
