West Plains, MO. – Two people were injured in a Monday night crash near West Plains. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 9:10 p.m. on Highway K, west of Quail Run Road, southwest of West Plains.
A Ford F250 driven by John Richardson and towing a second vehicle ran off the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned. The report states the truck was driven from the scene and neither the driver nor the truck was damaged.

Two occupants of the second vehicle, a 16-year-old male and Stacey Richardson, age 53, were injured in the crash and were taken by South Howell Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. No one named in the crash had been wearing a safety device.
