Date Announced For The Closure Of The West Plains Aquatic Center

West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Aquatic Center will officially close its doors for the 2024 summer swimming season on Sunday, August 18th. Until this date, the pool will continue to remain open seven days a week from noon to 5 p.m., offering individuals one last opportunity to visit the pool.

Community Services Director Todd Shanks expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to another successful season, saying, “We want to extend our sincere thanks to all the residents and visitors who made use of the Aquatic Center this summer. Your support makes it all worthwhile. Additionally, we want to recognize and thank our lifeguards, pool managers, and the Parks Department staff. Their hard work behind the scenes ensures the pool is operational, safe, and a fun place for everyone to enjoy.”
