MOUNTAIN HOME, ARK. – The Baxter County Library is proud to announce the beginning of a brand-new story time for dementia patients and their caregivers. Every third Thursday starting January 16 at 10:30am, Dementia Caregivers can bring their parent, friend or family member to hear classic tales, familiar music and experience a calming environment.
The Baxter County Library staff has recently been through training on creating a Dementia friendly environment through the folks at the Mruk Family Education Center on Aging. Their insight along with the staff of the Baxter County has made this beneficial program possible.
