West Plains, Mo. – Details have been released about the arrest of an armed and dangerous individual who had stolen a vehicle earlier this week.
At 8:40 p.m. on December 21, 2021, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office received information about a potential stolen vehicle at a residence on County Road 8270 in Howell County. Information obtained indicated that it was a car stolen from Douglas County on December 20. Upon arrival and approach, Lt. Jason Long was able to arrest Terry Levi Puckett without incident. Puckett was in possession of a semi-automatic .223-caliber rifle that, as a convicted felon in the State of Missouri, he was disqualified from possessing.
Puckett has been charged with Felony Fugitive from Out-of-State, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Pucket was held in the Howell County Jail and his bond set at $75,000 cash or surety.
