Disaster Assistance Available for Tornado Victims at Multi-Agency Resource Center

In response to the recent tornadoes, Howell County Emergency Management has announced the opening of a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) to assist those affected by the disaster.

The MARC will be available on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from noon to 7:00 p.m. at the West Plains Civic Center, located at 110 St. Louis St, West Plains, MO 65775.

A Multi-Agency Resource Center serves as a central hub where local and state agencies, along with human service organizations, can provide information, answer questions, and offer disaster-related assistance to impacted individuals.

Services available at the MARC may include insurance assistance, legal services, food stamp replacement, health and wellness support, emergency financial assistance, gift cards, and other disaster-related resources. Meals will be provided to those attending.

Residents seeking assistance are encouraged to bring proof of address and a picture ID to access available services.
