In conjunction with the Ozark Artery Plants and Pollinators art show at the Yellow House, 209 W. Trish Knight St., there will be a “Discover Missouri Pollinators” program presented by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3. The program is free and open to all. MDC Ozark Region Conservation Educator Sam Stewart will be the presenter.
The intent of the Plants and Pollinators show is to recognize and celebrate the importance of pollinators and their native habitat. It will feature a variety of works by local artists and opens on April 22 in conjunction with Earth Day festivities at the Yellow House which begins at 3 p.m. It will run through the month of May, available for viewing when the Yellow House is open, including Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
