Baxter County, AR. – Baxter County Sheriff’s Office employees who sustained injuries, losses, or damages during the recent tornado event are allowed to apply for assistance from Baxter County’s Sheriff’s Foundation, a non-profit organization.

Recently the Foundation’s Board of Directors set up an employee benefit and relief fund after they received several donations with the purpose of helping the Sheriff’s employees in need after the tornadoes. The money was donated by four local women who became aware of the need for some officers. The women donate d$7,250 for the Sheriff’s employee relief benefits. After these funds were received, the Foundation voted to match this donation with exsisting Foundation funds.
