GAINESVILLE, Mo. — Donations are being sought to help foster children in three area counties.
Stacey Garrison with Ozark County-based Helping Hands told Ozark Radio News that child sponsorships for foster kids in Wright, Douglas, and Ozark counties for their upcoming Christmas event were sought for the past few weeks. Thankfully, she says a majority of those sponsorships have been filled.

However, monetary donations are still needed for other items the non-profit groups would like to get the kids, such as backpacks and pillows. The groups also provide the foster children in Wright, Douglas, and Ozark counties with a meal.
