Doniphan, MO. – A man from Doniphan has been seriously injured in a crash yesterday, which has warranted his transportation via flight to a medical facility in Memphis.
Jonathan Edwards is the 59-year-old man from Doniphan who was injured in this crash that occurred at 12:20pm yesterday, March 14th. Edwards was driving Northbound on Highway 21, when he ran off the roadway 2 miles South of Doniphan.
Edwards struck a guardrail during the crash, and then overturned in the ditch on the other side. The Chevy Equinox he was driving was totaled in the crash, and Edwards himself sustained serious injuries. He was transported by Survival Flight to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.
This accident was investigated by Corporal M.L. Schlief of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop E.
