West Plains, MO. – Now that the Great American Eclipse has come and gone, and life is returning to normal in the Ozarks, many people will still be hanging onto their glasses as they decide what to do with them. Well, don’t throw them away, as they may still yet serve a good purpose!
Cody Sanders with the City of West Plains has stated that the city has opted to participate with an outside organization that will be shipping extra eclipse glasses to a location in South America to use in an eclipse to occur later this year.

Drop-off locations include West Plains City Hall, as well as the West Plains Public Library.
