Dora R-III School District Launches Fundraiser for Ozark County’s K9 Karo’s Protective Vest

Dora, MO – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office currently has one K9, Karo. Out of appreciation and love for their county’s K9 partner, the Dora R-III School District has announced a fundraising campaign to provide K9 Karo with a custom bulletproof vest.

Deputy Josh Sherman recently visited the school to demonstrate the important work that K9s do in the field. During these visits, it was noted that K9 Karo currently operates without protective gear. This realization inspired the school to take action.
