Dora Volunteer Fire Department Raising Money for Jaws of Life Device

Dora, MO. – The Dora Volunteer Fire Department recently announced that they have scheduled a fundraiser for April.

This fundraiser is going towards purchasing new equipment. Specifically, a “jaws of life” device is being sought for purchase. These devices, also known as hydraulic rescue tools, are meant for cutting, prying, and breaching the doors of vehicles when an individual is trapped inside.
