58-year-old Patricia Anna Santos-Duvalier of Dora has been arrested and charged in the murder of a special needs woman she was a caregiver for. The 38-year-old woman, who was severely mentally handicapped, was found dead in the front yard of her home in Tecumseh.
Investigators say she died from internal blood loss consistent with a physical assault. Santos-Duvalier had previously been charged with assault of a special vicitm and abuse of an elderly, disabled, or vulnerable person. She is now charged with second degree murder and first degree assault, and is being held in the Ozark County Jail without bail.
